Katie Curtis Bolton
Katie has been in love with the outdoors and sports since before she can remember. Having been involved with multiple sports growing up Katie decided to stick with running through high school and college. After retiring from a pole vault career with the Auburn Tigers, her father introduced her to cycling. It only took one ride to get her hooked. Since then Katie has embraced all the aspects of the cycling world. Since Katie also participates in triathlons and with her track and field history she also embraces the pedestrian lifestyle!
Most recently Katie was responsible for getting an I SHARE THE ROAD license plate into production for Alabama.
Katie currently owns Pro Cycle & Triathlon with her husband, Joseph. She uses Pro Cycle & Triathlon as a platform to engage the community in becoming aware of the health benefits of the bicycle and pedestrian life styles. She also uses it to positively educate the community on bicycle and pedestrian safety.
Katie has made it a priority for Pro Cycle & Triathlon to be awarded "One of America's Best Bike Shops" in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 by meeting the high standards of being involved with bicycle advocacy and being a "Bicycle Friendly Business - Silver Level" for 2014.
Katie is actively involved in the Easternshore Metropolitan Planning Organization and the Fairhope Bicycle and Pedestrian Committees.
Katie lives in Fairhope, AL with her husband, Joseph and their three fur children, Fabulous “Fabian” Catcellera, Cipollini "Cipo", and Mr. Frank.
